  • Where do I find coverage per box?

    Printed on the carton: usually "covers X sq ft" or "X m²". Common values: 22 sq ft for 12-mm laminate, 18–24 sq ft for engineered hardwood.

  • How much waste should I order?

    8–10% for plain rectangular rooms; 12–15% for irregular floors or diagonal layouts.

  • Plank length affects waste — does the calc handle it?

    The math is purely area-based. Long planks in a narrow room can produce extra cuts — bump waste % to 12–15% if you’re unsure.
